Nature of case:
The defendant companies were entitled to rescind side agreements for the reprocessing of 1,000 tonnes of nuclear fuel as the claimant nuclear reprocessing company had misrepresented its capacity to reprocess the fuel. The defendants were not however entitled to rescind the main agreements for the reprocessing of 6,000 tonnes of nuclear fuel.
