This was an appeal from a decision of Mr. Recorder John Uff in the TCC that a letter instructing the contractor to proceed formed a contract incorporating IFC 84, even though the parties envisaged the execution of a formal contract. The appeal was dismissed: the mere fact of the intended subsequent formal contract did not preclude the conclusion of a binding contract.
