Jane Lemon was called to the Bar in 1993 and has been a practising barrister in Keating Chambers since 1994. During this time she has built up considerable experience in construction and engineering disputes, domestic and international arbitration, and professional negligence of architects and engineers, an issue on which she has contributed a chapter to a recent authoritative publication. She has also acted as an adjudicator.
She has been involved in major international arbitrations in the Far East, Australia, the Middle East and Europe including Portugal and Gibraltar. Her work in the UK covers a full range of construction disputes from domestic housing to substantial commercial developments and engineering projects.

- Appearing in a domestic arbitration for a major UK contractor in a £2m claim for defective work against a specialist steelworks sub-contractor.
- Representing an Engineering Contractor in a claim against the Omani Government resulting from the construction of a new dual carriageway.
- Appearing as counsel for Clerical Medical in a Claim for Declarations in the Technology and Construction Court in respect of their new headquarter building in Bristol.
- Acting for a major UK supermarket chain in the Technology and Construction Court in relation to claims arsing from the Construction of a multi deck car park.
- Representing a major international contractor against the Hong Kong Government in a £100m tunnelling dispute relating to the Hong Kong Strategic Sewage Disposal Scheme.
