Silk Appointment: Krista Lee

We are delighted to announce that Krista Lee has been successful in her application for silk.

Krista is a specialist in engineering and construction disputes. Called to the Bar in 1996, she joined Keating in 2007. She has been involved in several high profile projects in the UK and internationally, including the nuclear marine berth at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde, the Greater Gabbard off shore wind farm, Hinkley Point C, Coca-Cola Ballina, the Burj Khalifa and Cayan Tower in Dubai. Her engineering degree and associate membership of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers make her adept at understanding complex technical and design issues. In addition to her work as counsel, Krista is a Chartered Arbitrator and has appointments as co-arbitrator and president from the ICC, LCIA, DIFC and DIAC covering infrastructure, energy and hospital projects across the Middle East and Africa. She is described as ‘user-friendly, excellent at drafting and wonderfully quick.’

Her appointment will take effect following a ceremony on 16 March 2020.
