10,000 Black Interns Programme: Closing Day

Keating Chambers hosted the Closing Day of the 10,000 Black Interns Bar Programme last week. We were joined by the Chair of the Bar Samuel Townend KC.

The day commenced with an interactive panel discussion and Q&A with barristers who shared their unique journeys to the Bar.

The panel included:
Savannah Sevenzo (One Pump Court Chambers)
Afiya Amesu (No5 Barristers’​ Chambers)
Charlotte Pope-Williams (ACIarb) (3 Hare Court Chambers)

The panel Q&A was followed by engaging breakout discussions facilitated by Steering Group members Krista Lee KC (Keating Chambers) and Mariam Diaby (The Bar Council of England and Wales). To bring the internship to a close, the interns were then presented with their well-deserved certificates by Gary Pryce (New Square Chambers).
