Nature of case:
An attempt to challenge an arbitrator’s award under s.68 Arbitration Act 1996 failed.  Indications that he had changed his mind did not invalidate the award, rather they indicated his willingness to listen to submissions.  There was nothing wrong in attaching the legal advice received by the arbitrator to the award.
