Hearing begins into Salt Cross Garden Village Area Action Plan Examination

Date: 28 June 2021

Today marks the start of the 2 week hearing of the Examination in Public of the Salt Cross Garden Village Area Action Plan, prepared by West Oxfordshire District Council to facilitate the delivery of a c.2000 dwelling exemplar garden village to the north of Eynsham, Oxfordshire, known as Salt Cross (formerly known as Oxfordshire Garden Village). The main issues include the highways & transport infrastructure required in connection with the development, the plan’s provisions in relation to net zero carbon development, biodiversity net gain and viability.
