Keating Chambers New Staff Members and Promotions

We are pleased to welcome two new staff members to Keating Chambers, with Maiya Roberts and Joy Olaosebikan both joining us in recent weeks. In addition we are delighted to share that, having joined us originally in 2021, Madeleine Carr has been promoted to Administration & ADR Assistant.

Maiya Roberts joins us as an Assistant Practice Manager on our Junior QCs and Senior Juniors’ team. Prior to joining us, Maiya studied International Politics at City, University of London. Maiya will work alongside Dominic Woodbridge and Joel Banks, assisting with managing and developing the practices of Junior Silks and Senior Juniors, including diary management and client and case management.

Effective from January 2022, in her role as Administration & ADR Assistant, Madeline Carr will assist Oliver Goldsmith in supporting those members who are full-time arbitrators, adjudicators, expert determinators and mediators. Her responsibilities will include diary management and work allocation.

Declan Redmond (Director of Clerking) commented: “It is great to welcome both Maiya and Maddie to our diverse and dynamic clerking team. Our clerks are all extremely knowledgeable and with such a close and welcoming team to learn from I am confident that they will shine in their new roles.”

On the professional support side, Joy Olaosebikan joins us as an Outdoor and Office Assistant, following completion of a Law degree at Coventry University. Joy works alongside Peter Dowdell and Dean Quantick to provide administrative support and assistance to the barristers, pupils and staff.
