Service of a claim form on the proprietor of a business under CPR Part 6.5 (6) at the ‘last known place of business’ did mean the last known place of business known to the claimant, but this claimant’s solicitors had not taken reasonable steps to search for the address, once the defendant’s name was revealed in the RIBA directory. No extension of time would be granted and the claim was limitation-barred.
