Skanska Construction Ltd v Egger (Barony) Ltd

Citation: BLR 236 CA

Nature of case:

The Court of Appeal refused to construe a provision requiring the Employer to insure against damage arising from areas of contractor responsibility as covering defects in the contractor’s work.  The BLR Editors describe this as “commercially realistic”.
