Charles Banner QC voted one of England’s Top 4 Planning QCs

Planning Magazine’s 23rd annual Planning Law Survey, based upon a poll of several hundred planning & development industry professionals, has been published today. Two years after taking silk, Charles Banner QC has been voted joint 4th top silk in England, rising four places from the 2020 survey.

The commentary says of him: “Banner moved from Landmark Chambers to Keating Chambers last year, bringing, says one legal professional, “a more rounded offer”. Over the past 12 months, Banner’s caseload has included acting for the transport secretary to see off a judicial review relating to the expansion of London Stansted Airport. “Charlie has an indefatigable enthusiasm for every case,” the voter added, pointing to his involvement in the Have We Got Planning News For You webcast and promotion of digital planning.”
