Alison Crosland joined Keating Chambers in 2021 as COO. Her leadership role includes oversight and provision of support to the Clerking, Operations and Marketing departments to deliver our strategy and develop our people to best support our clients. Her responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all professional, statutory and regulatory requirements; troubleshooting; and the championing of diversity and inclusion. She sits as a member of the Executive Committee.

Alison’s background is in leading operational and corporate service functions in professional services businesses providing consultancy to blue-chip multinational businesses. Prior to joining Keating Chambers, Alison spent four years as Group Director for Corporate Services at the communications regulator Ofcom, leading the Finance, Facilities, HR, Secretariat and IT teams as well as taking overall responsibility for Ofcom’s change programme. Previously, she was at city law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner, where she was Chief Operating Officer for the firm’s real estate law practice, covering real estate, planning and construction. Other roles include various Board-level roles at specialist consultancy Control Risks, Operations Director at LGBT Finance and as Founding Director of coaching consultancy The Salience Network.

Alison is passionate about helping people achieve their best. She is a trained coach and member of the International Coaching Federation. She is also a trustee for BANG Edutainment, a charity designing and creating projects and services for young people to develop their personal and professional skills.

Alison sits on the Executive Committee of the Legal Practice Management Association (LPMA). Other interests outside work include theatre, the arts and travel.
