Online

26th May 2021 10:00am - 11:00am

Charles Banner QC is on the panel of Pinsent Masons’ second webinar on digital planning taking place on Wednesday 26 May at 10-11am BST.

This session will focus on Artificial Intelligence, beginning with a presentation by Urban Intelligence and Hounslow Council on how they are digitising their “call for sites” as part of their local plan evidence base. They will then explain how AI could be used as the next step to improve the outcomes for all stakeholders in this process. Charles Banner QC and Sue Chadwick will discuss how this new technology challenges some long-established norms of decision making, and Lara Groves from the Ada Lovelace Institute will cover key things that we can all do to avoid ethical minefields.
