A new approach to procurement and delivery?
On Thursday 23 February 2023, Sarah Hannaford KC with many other renowned speakers from the UK and beyond will speak at the King's College London Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution Open Forum about "New Energy: A new approach to procurement and delivery?" They will examine the latest progresses in the procurement of new and renewable energy projects whilst focusing on legal challenging and risk concerns. Nuclear energy projects are moving towards a ‘Regulated Asset Based (RAB)’. Nuclear fusion is getting closer to reality, wind farms are being obtained in innovative ways and hydrogen projects are being created. These energy projects and commercial delivery models are evolving quickly, and they offer us important lessons about contracting, risk management, and procurement.
