KCL Open Forum – New Energy: Nuclear, Fusion and Wind Farms
A new approach to procurement and delivery?
On Thursday 23rd February, Sarah Hannaford KC with many other renowned speakers from the UK and beyond will speak at the King’s College London Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution Open Forum about “New Energy: A new approach to procurement and delivery?” They will examine the latest progresses in the procurement of new and renewable energy projects whilst focusing on legal challenging and risk concerns.
Nuclear energy projects are moving towards a ‘Regulated Asset Based (RAB)’. Nuclear fusion is getting closer to reality, wind farms are being obtained in innovative ways and hydrogen projects are being created. These energy projects and commercial delivery models are evolving quickly, and they offer us important lessons about contracting, risk management, and procurement.
The Open Forum will be held at Bush House on the King’s College Strand Campus, registration will start at 9am and presentations will run from 9:30am to 5.30pm, followed by drinks and networking. A sandwich lunch will be provided.
The conference fees are £275 (with a 20% discount for SCL members, KCCLA members and students) including lunch and refreshments.
