Technology Disputes Network Event: Would I be negligent to ignore AI?

Keating Chambers

14th September 2023

Peter Brogden will be speaking on a panel at a Technology Disputes Network (TDN) seminar on artificial intelligence and the technical implications that it gives rise to, taking place at Keating Chambers on Thursday 14 September 2023.

The event will be looking at the speed of travel in the industry, and the benefits available to businesses by reference to real use cases, and focus specifically on LegalTech and how a GPT may benefit lawyers. TDN will be showing a GPT in action and consider important questions surrounding the future of LegalTech. TDN will also be looking at AI ethics and the direction of travel for regulation and governance, and finally – but perhaps most importantly for the audience – what might go wrong and where liability might lie when it does.

Peter will be joined by two other panellists:

  • Dr Stylianos Kampakis, CStat – CEO, Tesseract Academy; and
  • Richard Kerr – Senior Director, Kroll.

The seminar will be followed by networking drinks.

Peter Brogden is an experienced construction barrister with principal specialities in construction, energy, shipbuilding and technology disputes.
