Elaine Weaver

Elaine plays a key role in shaping and delivering Chambers’ people strategy, overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, onboarding, training, probation and appraisal processes, employee records, and policy development. As the primary point of contact for recruitment, she also supports career development, learning and development initiatives, and staff wellbeing, helping to foster a fair, supportive, and compliant working environment.

Alongside her HR responsibilities, Elaine leads Chambers’ compliance function. She monitors regulatory developments, maintains policies and procedures, and co-ordinates compliance activities to ensure adherence to data protection, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and wider professional and regulatory obligations.

Elaine holds a degree in Economics and Business Law. Before joining Keating Chambers in 2022, she built a successful career in business development across the legal and financial services sectors and also gained experience in media and television production.
