Mark Barbour-Smith

Mark Barbour-Smith joined Keating Chambers as Chief Executive Officer in 2026. Mark joins from multinational law firm Baker McKenzie, where he spent c.7 years as Director of Practice Management - Global Corporate. From his time there, and previously in management roles at Credit Suisse and HSBC, he brings significant experience in leadership, strategy and operations, with a strong track record in delivering strategic growth, strengthening market positioning and client relationships, and leading high-performing professional services teams.
As CEO, Mark will work closely with the Head of Chambers, the Executive Committee, members of Chambers and staff. His remit includes strategic planning, business development, marketing, operations and the continued enhancement of client service.
