Hong Kong Arbitration Week – Is procedure (un)fairness abused in international arbitration?
Philip Boulding KC will be speaking at this year’s Hong Kong Arbitration Week which is taking place at the HKIAC from Monday 16 – 20 October 2023.
Phil will be speaking on the panel ‘Is procedure (un)fairness abused in international arbitration?’ hosted by K&L Gates. Phil will discuss several topics including the tensions that can arise in commercial arbitration in Asia-based cases. The differences between the way that procedural issues are addressed in relation to international arbitration conducted in different jurisdictions. They will also discuss how a tribunal prevents one party from ambushing the other and many other very important aspects of international arbitration.
