IBA Annual Conference Sydney 2017

Robert Fenwick Elliott and Allan Myers AC QC will be speaking at the IBA Annual Conference Sydney 2017 on Wednesday 11 October.

Robert will participate in a panel title “Civil and common law approaches to contract interpretation: a comparison – and do good faith obligations make any difference?”. This panel will explore different ways in which clauses inserted into construction contracts are enforced in common law and civil law jurisdictions, including clauses related to changes, delays, differing site conditions, claim notice and indemnity. Allan will be speaking on a panel titled “Is the art market truly global?”. This panel will consider the political and economic implications of export permits and export control in theory and practice, and will include and interactive case study.

Holly Gavaghan, Business Development Director, will also be attending the conference and looks forward to meeting with other delegates.
