Jamie Robson

Pupil

Jamie joined Chambers as a Pupil Barrister in September 2026. 

Prior to joining Chambers, Jamie served for 10-years in the British Army, in the Parachute Regiment. He was awarded the Queen’s Medal at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for achieving the highest overall scores in military, academic and practical studies. His career included numerous operational deployments, including to Afghanistan in August 2021 for the evacuation from Kabul; for his contribution to this operation, he was subsequently awarded a Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service. He left the Army in 2025 as a Major.

Jamie read Law at the University of Cambridge, and completed a Masters in International Relations at Queen Mary University of London whilst serving. He was required to complete the PgDL upon leaving service, achieving a Distinction and the highest national mark for his course. 

Jamie enjoys cooking, competing in triathlons and reading historical fiction.
