On Wednesday 26 February Charles Banner KC will join an expert panel webinar with Pinsent Masons to discuss his findings and recent government planning and judicial review reforms aimed at streamlining infrastructure planning.
The panel will explore challenges in critical infrastructure projects and government support for infrastructure and housing development. They will discuss proposed changes to the NSIPs regime, including updates to National Policy Statements, application acceptance tests, consultation requirements, and provisions for opting out of the NSIP process. The panel will also consider the impact of these measures on performance, delays, and legal challenges.
Charles Banner KC will be joined by Robbie Owen, Partner and Head of Infrastructure Planning and Government Affairs at Pinsent Masons, with Iain Gilbey, Senior Planning Partner at Pinsent Masons, chairing the panel.
