David Thomas KC will speak at Vinson & Elkins’ Middle East Construction Conference 2026, taking place in Dubai on Thursday 22 October 2026.
The conference will bring together construction and disputes practitioners, in-house counsel and industry professionals to consider current developments and challenges facing the construction sector across the Middle East.
David will join the ‘At the Dispute Stage’ panel at 9.15am, which will consider issues arising as project relationships become increasingly adversarial, including liability for defects, contractual defect rectification regimes, and the role of technical experts in the investigation and resolution of disputes.
Chaired by Nabeel Ikram, Head of International Disputes – MENA at Vinson & Elkins, David will be joined on the panel by Nicholas Higgs of 39 Essex Chambers and Sanjay Patel KC of 4 Pump Court.
