Delivering Africa’s Infrastructure: From Project Challenges to Dispute Resolution
Part of Keating Chambers’ International Webinar Series, this webinar brings together members of Chambers and Professor Emilia Onyema to discuss the challenges arising throughout the lifecycle of major infrastructure and energy projects across Africa.
Drawing on experience of major projects across the region, the panel will consider project delivery and contract administration, including delay and change management, together with the mechanisms available for resolving disputes, including FIDIC contracts, dispute boards, mediation and international arbitration.
The discussion will also consider the practical realities of enforcement and the challenges that can arise in practice, alongside lessons drawn from major projects across the region.
The session will take the form of an interactive panel discussion, followed by audience Q&A.
