Justin Mort KC will speak at the ICC Young Arbitration & ADR Forum (YAAF) event, ‘From Hormuz to the Red Sea: Same Crisis, Different Cases?’, taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday 29 September 2026.
The event will bring together international practitioners, corporate representatives and industry experts to consider the legal and commercial challenges arising from disruption to key shipping routes in the Middle East and the resulting impact on major engineering and infrastructure projects.
The panel will explore how interconnected geopolitical events can give rise to disputes across EPC, equipment supply, transport and insurance contracts, and the role of arbitration and ADR mechanisms in avoiding fragmented proceedings and conflicting outcomes.
