Simon Hughes KC is delighted to have been invited to speak on Advocacy in Arbitration at the Arbitration & ADR course organised by the Sarawak Institute of Arbitration & ADR (SiADR) on Thursday 21 August 2025.
SiADR has been established as a professional institution to promote arbitration and ADR in the state of Sarawak, East Malaysia.

Arbitration offers terrific opportunities for advocacy and client representation at all levels of seniority; and “advocacy” itself can take many forms.
Pretty much everything a party does in an arbitration is (or should be) viewed as “advocacy” towards the attainment of the esteemed client’s aims & goals … This is the theme of Simon’s session.
