20 November 2026
Sarah Hannaford KC and Fionnuala McCredie KC will speak at White Paper Conferences’ Public Procurement Law 2026, taking place at The Landmark London on Friday 20 November.
This year’s conference, themed ‘Shaping New Law into Solution-Focused Answers for Your Clients’, will bring together leading procurement practitioners to consider recent developments in public procurement law and their practical implications.
At 9.45am, Sarah will consider how the recent National Lottery litigation has affected the approach to determining when a contract modification becomes ‘substantial’, drawing on her experience acting for the Gambling Commission in The New Lottery Company v Gambling Commission [2026].
At 11.30am, Fionnuala will examine the risks surrounding the exclusion of bidders, including the evidential thresholds for exclusion and the position where grounds for exclusion emerge after final evaluation.
Date: Friday 20 November 2026
Time: 9.30am-5.00pm (with registration at 9.00am)
Location: The Landmark London
