Paul Bury and Sarah Williams will speak at the Society of Construction Law North-East Seminar: Construction Law Updates for 2026, taking place in Newcastle on Thursday 8 October 2026.
The seminar will bring together construction law practitioners and industry professionals to consider recent case law and emerging issues affecting the construction sector.
Sarah will present ‘2026 in the TCC: an update on non-BSA case law’, reviewing recent decisions from the Technology and Construction Court.
Paul will provide an update on recent Building Safety Act case law and emerging themes.
They will be joined by Adam Chaffer of Trinity Chambers, who will speak on ‘Cracks in the Foundations: Construction & Insolvency Common Themes and Case Law Update’. The session will be chaired by Deborah Robinson of Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP.
