Nature of case:
On an attempt by a landlord to have an arbitrator’s award on a rent review set aside under s.68 of the Arbitration Act 1996 for serious irregularity. The landlord based this challenge and the appeal to the CA on serious irregularity but it was held that this was not even a border-line case; the landlord’s appeal failed.
