Keating Chambers’ Brenna Conroy and 3PB Barristers’ Nick Kaplan are delivering a joint talk at Arbrix’s Spring Conference on Saturday 16th March.
The conference is an annual meeting of RICS arbitrators and adjudicators, notably chartered surveyors and other independent property experts. Brenna and Nick will be speaking about the recent decision in Bellway Homes v Surgo Construction in which they both appeared on opposite sides. The case is of huge significance to the construction industry as it revisits the issue of “smash & grab’ vs ‘true value’ adjudications, following the earlier landmark decision in Grove. Brenna and Nick will also provide a general update on recent enforcement decisions.
