One of the main concerns from students at the law fairs we have recently attended has been whether we are still offering mini-pupillages and, if so, how they are currently operating. We are pleased to say that we are running virtual mini-pupillages and have been able to place all successful applicants in this programme. Our virtual one-day mini-pupillages will take place in groups. The day will comprise of the following:
- Introduction by junior member of Chambers, in which a written problem will be set. This written answer will be submitted later in the day prior to a group discussion of the problem (NB no individual feedback will be given in the group session and all answers will be kept private).
- Q&A session with junior member of Chambers over coffee, in which mini-pupils have the chance to ask a junior member of Chambers about life at the Bar and pupillage at Keating Chambers.
- Talk from QC about career opportunities and construction cases.
Further details on the application process for pupillages and mini-pupillages can be found under the recruitment tab on our website. The next application assessment date for mini pupillages is 1 December 2020.
